'Do Fire Ants Dream Of Aphid Sheep' is an exploratory work into the nature of the metaphors we live by and the stories we tell. These stories are contextualised through an anthropomorphic investigation into the history of ants and myrmecology. Within this book, Ng explores the timeline of narrative around social insects, and compares it to her own first-hand experiences of living with over seventy ant colonies in her south London flat.’
